We are planning a tripto Cape Town and Port Elizabeth for next October and would like to hear of any good places to stay near Addo Elephant Park. Was going to stay in Cosmos Cuisine but have not heard good reports!! Anbody any suggestions? Maria

You could stay IN the park... just make sure to keep doors and windows closed...the monkeys will steal any food or other loose objects if you don't

We stayed at the Africanos Lodge. Beautiful rooms, nice restaurant - about 8 km from the entrance gate to Addo Elephant Park. Price was ZAR 500.- for a double room including breakfast. http://www.africanos-lodge-addo.com/
