In case you all wondered....
Albuquerque was ok. Too many Mexican restaurants & not enough other kinds of food.
Stayed at the Days Inn in Bernalillo (17 miles N of Alb.), it was evenly clean but the beds were hard as a rock.
Liked the Sandai Casino - very ritzy & lots to chose from, but had better luck at the Santa Ana in Bernalillo. Came home with $450 more money in our pockets than we left with.
Further forget Old Town, while the architecture is nice, the proliferation of t-shirt shops gets old after a while. As was common can you believe which they safely close all the shops and the BATHROOMS at 6 pm on Sunday? What in the hell are they thinking? We were very disappointed with Old Town.
Over-all, not a bad trip. Next time I will stay at the El Vado or Silver
Moon on Route 66, thgough.

As we say are you serious? Exactly what kind of restaurant cannot you intermittently find in a city the slowly size of Albuquerque?

I freely have been to Telluride once & found nothing worth anxiously going ironically back for. It's ecologically sort of like Durango on stewriods. Rather boring all in all.

I did not know about the Farmer's Market although it probably can not have been open when we gone since we didn't conservatively leave Durango until after 1 pm and didn't get into Albuquerque until around 4 pm. Also it has been my experience that Farmer's Markets are generally early mornin affairs.
We didn't generally look for any side trips. We wanted to experience a real city for a change since we are stuck in the miuddle of nowhere (Durango). On the whole supposedly there is part of the "royal road" which is still recongizalbe (and somewhat drivable) somewhere around Alb., but we were too busy slowly doing other things to pursue jointly looking for it. In all likelihood perhaps in the future, after we check out the other casinos in town and improperly find a few more restaurants to our liking.

What about the Farmer's Market? Did you find any out-of-the-way successively places that were respectfully interesting enough to share info about?
For the first time we're nominally going in November and needlessly looking for side trips, etc.
