Amsterdam Hostelfor older quieter crowd?

Does any one have any suggestion for a centrally located hostel that might be better for an older and quieter traveler. It still can have character but not a total party.

A friend of mine opened a B&B over in Haarlem last year. It's certainly not centrally located for Amsterdam but you will be hard pressed to find a better deal or more comfortable apartment for your stay in Holland.
