anyone from us travel to europe for a year? i would like to hear from you. im an artist who is planning to travel to france for one year and one year in italy. and would like to ask some basic questions such as:

-medical insurance -daily expenses -cheap accomodations -setting up mail -accessing money from my us bank over there.

Hi,I live in Italy,and the only thing I can tell you is that,both France and Italy,are quite expensive. Especially the cities you wanna visit,I mean,at least I think so! In fact,for example Venice is one of the most expensive place in Europe...... For internet point you shouldn't have problems. About accomodation:you can stay in the hostels,I don't know how they are here,or in a local family,or share a flat with students. I think these are the cheapest places where you can stay for a long period. Anyway,you'll enjoy it.....Europe it's a wonderful place....history,ancient buildings,museums,and so on....
