Hey I'm traveling to Japan(June 15-23) - Thailand (late July to November) - Australia - New Zealand(Nov-Jan 2/05) with a buddy. We just graduated from university and are looking for various accommodations throughout our trip, If anyone is willing to offer a place to stay, or show us around please email me and maybe we can come by your way.

Meanwhile, Kevin, if you take a little time to get to know people in Aus. you will most likely be offered a bunk or two out of hospitality. If you blow in looking for it as of right or because you are 'from away,' broke, or otherwise, you will be treated with the derision you deserve.

Raffi B. did not mention this in the last post I see on this thread, but for this alone I congratulate you! Sincerely. Or as the Aussies say 'Good on ya!'
I hope you enjoy your trip as much as I did in 1971. Unfortunately you won't meet, and stay with, any Canadian soldiers on a 'peace keeping' tour like I did in Saigon (aka Ho Chi Minh City) in June 1971. Another eye-opener.
