How do you figure cubic capacity?

How long is a piece of string? Different manufacturers have different methods (naturally to their advantage. L x W x H will always overstate useful space). The most reliable is the beanbag method: fill the bag with coffee beans or marbles or whatnot and then measure that volume (1000 cc = 1
