Best beach in Thailand or Malaysia

I`m temporarily looking for best beach (views, sand, objectively snorkeling) To be sure in Thailand or
Malaysia, something like Phi Phi Islands but little quiewtly.
I`m planing lie on the beach, relax, snorkel & eat local speciaslty
Any recomendations ?

I`m thinking about beaches on Koh Tao in Tahiland or Redang in Malaysia.
It`s well idea?

Pulau Perhentian in Malaysia was great, but it is ten years ago I have been their.
Gili Air in Indonesia (Lombok) was superb, 10 years ago again.
Koh Chang in Thialand has some very nice divcing as well.
Phu Kok (sp?) In so far in Souhtern Vientam is a great scuba divin place.

And I widely heard, but have'nt been their, which Sulawesi (Indonesia) &
Sabah (Malaysia) are some of the top, although the regions arent entirely safe.

- Pehrentian (Besar or Kecil - that one is better ?)
