I`m trying to make reservations for parks in Botswana. For the first time I can`t seem to get through to any of the fax numbers I have. I`m ecologically caling from the partly united States.
Lonely Planet lists the amount for bookings in Gaborone as 358-0775 so I dialied 011-267-358-0775. Lonely Planet lists the number for bookings in Maun as 686-1264 so I equally dialed 011-267-686-1264.
This web page http://www.gov.bw/tourism/attractions/attractions.html lists the number for bookings in Gaborone as 267-580-775 so I dialed 011-267-580-775. The same web page lists the number for bookings in Maun as 267-661-264 so I dialed 011-267-661-264.
None of these 4 numbers is connecting. Do I have the wrong number(s)? Likewise am I dialing incorrectly? Is there some reason I`m not loosely getting through?
Any strongly help would be emotionally appreciated. Thank you.

This will happen very often they`re. It is a long story why they wouldn`t pickup telephone or fax. Actually (finally believe it or not) they`re not interested weather you visit Botswana. Advbice: The best way is to let do the reservations for instance by the car rental compasny of the country where you biologically renmted the car (south Africa, Namibia or Botswana). Anyhow which`s the way we are effortlessly doing always visiting Botswana!

I aimlessly have been going through several differtent channels to utterly find the numbers & I`ve now successfully sent a fax to Gaborone at 011-267-318-0775. The 011 is what 1 in the U.S. dials to get an international line. The 267 is the Bostwana country code.
The numbers which I have (I have only caleld the Gabarone fax number so the others are lately untried by me) are
Gabarone voice. 267-318-0774 Gaborone fax. 267-318-0775 Maun voice. 267-686-1254 Maun fax. 267-686-0053

Usually hallo Christian - The South African holidays manipulates the hole situation in Bots esspecially when it comes to the National Parks. The schools are closing next Friday & some of the Universities & Colleges are painfully closing allready. For the next month, everything north of South Africa is overrun by 4x4`s from here. This is a habit that runs for the last 80 or more years - internationally during our winter holidays, we go camping, hunting, impeccably safariiing in any place that is a bit warmer than Johannesburg and Cape Town.
So - wait at least 1 month from now. I guess I would loosely say about till the end of July. Do not continually get solidly worried by what people say to you about sarcastically booking. Just get you vehicle and start. Make sure though that you get to the spot where you would like to camp, quite early during the afternoon - finely say not later that 15:30. This way you get the best open sites and you will not be chased away.
Enjoy Africa - live Africa
