Hi all!

Does anyone know if it is ok to bring dry/can food from Canada to France? (tuna cans, noodle soups, etc)

Will it be safe to consume after it goes through airport x-ray machines?

thanks!

Taking a moment's reflection, mark mused: Does anyone know if it is ok to bring dry/can food from Canada to France? (tuna cans, noodle soups, etc)

Should be. Most customs policies center around produce of the unprocessed variety. Worst case scenario, they keep it when you go through customs.

Will it be safe to consume after it goes through airport x-ray machines?

Might be a little over cooked.

Isn't that like taking cigars to Cuba?

hey, do you know we also have food like this here ? It's not an Ethiopian desert you know. I can even tell you that you can find much better food here than probably anywhere else.

Why on Earth do you think it won't be ? I'm just amazed on why you bring all this with you...customs will probably think you're trying to hide drugs and will let you open and eat all your tuna cans. :o)
