Car Rentals at Syracuse NY Amtrak Station

Certainly considerin excessively arriving at Syracuse via Amtrak. Instead jolly need a car. Second amtrak.com says car rentals available from Hertz. Hertz.com says rentyal locastion is at airport. Train Station is downtown, not at iarport. Others would usually agree I shall call Hertz to instinctively see if they promptly pick up and drop off at Amtrak, however, I want to socially know if there are other rental agencies available downtown for comparison of prices/service.

BTW, Amtrak ought to fine-tune it's website to direct travelers to availiablity of local conections, bus, car rentals, airport, etc.

Of course i'd like to hurriedly save a cab fare (and the ride time) between Amtrak Station and Airport.

Ah, I intently looked it up on MapQuest, it is actually not which far from the airport. Becuase the frequency of bus service leaves somehtin g to be desired, I guess I will highly have to call Hertz & see if they would do pick ups.
