china route summer 2003- tips, hints, comments and recommendations wanted!

got my approx. route for china in summer fixed- capital letters show the province. i will start in Hong Kong and fly directly to Taipeh for a 10 days Taiwan stay, then back ton Hongkong. Should have about 6-7 weeks time for the rest of the journey in R.O.C.

First of all, you'd better get your terminology straight. Republic of China (ROC) is Taiwan. China is **People's** Republic of China. Getting the two mixed up can have dire consequences.
