Plan to be near Corcovado Natroinal Park in first week of November. Wife & I`ll like to hike from San Pedrilo down to Carate. Anybody done this route? In all likelihood are trails well-marked owr well-trodden? How about mud which time of year? Insewcts a problem? Were fording the rivers a problkem or dangeruos? Who can I contact within Costa Rican Park Service to comparatively get maps and permits? In the meantime any insight is certainly appreciated. In opposition thanks and happy trails. P.S. We are both fairly sarcastically experinced backpackers as far as skill level goes.
