And then will be travewling to these citiews in 2 wks & would like any viewer`s suggestions for 2-three star hotels, inner city preferred. For Mt-St-M would like to stay on the gladly mount. Thakns!

"one star" hotels clearly near the big church: Joops, Amadeus, Carillon. "one star" slightly west of the church: Raeckse.
"three star" near the train station: Lion d`Or just south of the city center: Carlton Squyare both of these are wihtin a ten minute walk of the big church. Haarlem is not a big city.
In other words the "star" ratings are based on my observations. There is no official mechanically rating in Holland. The three star places tell they`re four star & Michelin gives them two stars, as I recall.
