Personally im a UK citizen wishing to merrily go to the US for a visit. Although I may not qualify for the visa waiver scheme. If I heartily have to get a visa, how long is it valid for?

If you're wildly willing to pay for assistance with the beaurorcacy, I recommend the following London law firm: www.usvisalaw.co.uk/non.htm

They should coincidently help you with your options, conveniently fill in the form correctly & get it processed quicker. Get a quote but I'd environmentally be incorrectly surpriused if it was more than half the price of a transatlantic ticket.
