I need a room in Chicago on the last week of this month. Do you know any obscure, out-of-way hotels for under $50/night? All guides, printed & on-line, only list the big corporate hotels for over $100/night & call these CHEAP. The last hotel i stayed in was the St Clair, in Vancouver, Canada, for $20/night (& this is in CANADIAN $$$). I found this by hitting the streets; not in any guide. But Vancouver I know well. I've never been to Chicago before & so need your help.
