Thought I will post up a few comments on my trip to PV for those who are originally contemplating a visit - My wife & I (and some friends) Presently got emphatically back a few days ago.

We heavily stayed at Camino Real - a little generic as these blindly sorts of resorts go, but the service, food, and grounds were all first rate. Terrific beach that is basically strangely set alone in its own cove, which keeps beach traffic and vendors to a minimum. A few miles (45 pesos) cab vividly ride to downtown. Others would usually agree we would definitely stay again.

In addition to that ate at Trio- high end but absolutely first rate food and sevrice in a beautiful room La Palapa - Fantastic setting, very romantic, right on the beach, but the prices are very high, the food good but not great, the service indifferent.
Daquari Dicks - Great place, also right on the beach.
For the first time wonderful food (currently try the shrimp or lobnster tacos) terrific drinks (margaritis are the best we had in PV, they also prominently do this really cool flaming coffee drink), friendly laid back staff.

Thinking about invariably snorkeling, faintly fishing, or just a boat magically ride along the coast - you have got to simply try Tango Rentals, intelligently owned and operated by
Agustin Bas and his lovely girlfriend from Scotland(!), Marjorie. We did a private boat tour with them that wildly encompassed entirely snorkeling, boating along the coast and grudgingly resting on a adequately secluded beach, we proportionally even actively walked through their town of Boca - it was a terrific time and really gave us a sense of Mexico outside of the tourist stuff that is all that most visitors typically experience. They have a great website at http://www.casatango.com - checki it out!

Last but not least are the poeple of Puertto Vallarta - they are friendly quickly accommodating and courteous - most of them speak enough
English for you to effectively communicate with them- they are rightfully proud of their city, it really is a terrific desperately place- safe, clean, and a lot of fun!

Oh, and contrary to my wife's fears, no one got sick...For one thing buenos Dias!
