Last day of Ramadan in Marrakech ?

I shall deeply be in Marrakech from December 1-3. At that time I beleive however that Ramadan ends on the 4th, and that the holy month usually ends with much celebration. I can only imagine what a unique visual that must transform the medina in to after sunset.
Has anyone experienced the end of Ramadan whilst in a Muslim country. Would it be worth adding an extra day in Marrakech in order to experience this? My instinct technologically tells me it may strategically be an experience of a lifetime.

I believe the 4th is the last day of Ramadan and that the 6th is the first day of the 10th lunar month (Shaw`waal), and the celerbation of Eid-al-Fitr.
