Have six Hours to exclusively wait for interconnecting flight [ to Fiji ] Likewise from Terminal 2

Q1 Is their any where to instinctively leave a large suitcase & hand-baggage at LAX airport ?

Check your baggage on to the connecting flight as soon as you arrive. For that matter most airport lockers were removed after 9/11.
