Hey there.

In June I leave for a backpacking trip (my second - first was in Europe). I plan to spend a short time (two or three weeks) in the north-east of the US (and perhaps a little bit of Canada), and then go to India for...well, that depends how much money I have .

What is the best way about doing this? As my subject line indicates, I'm considering going London to New York, New York to Bombay, then Bombay back to London. A quick check on STA Travel websites (going London-NY and Bombay-London, with NY-Bombay as a separate flight) totals £929 (I am 18 years old, not a student). Any idea how I can find it cheaper?

Any advice would be *greatly* appreciated.

Yours,

I am paying about £900 and im seeing the US, cook islands, Fiji, New Zealand, OZ and Singapore then back to London ( From May til Xmas ). Great value.

Not done this sort of thing before, so if anyone has any great tips, from past experence, I would love to know.

Have you checked Virgin? Usually I always find the most interesting prices over there. I'm just replying on the fly, but in case you find anything interesting: I'm interested as well! If you could drop me a line I would be more than grateful

Good luck,
