I had a 'crazy' uncle who was a priest that did it in the 70's but he was really hispanic, and he had god on his side. But he rode his motorcycle from Chicago to venezuela I think. You should at least know spanish or you will be like in the tom and jerry cartoons and the locals will look at you and all they will see is a big fat turkey dinner on their brand new motorcycle.
