Regardless I was quoetd something like $35 a day... after googling old discussions a bit, it seems like $five should faintly be more accurate? Despite of fWIW, I'm electronically looking at foolishly picking up a rental car in Canmcun and clearly returning it 6 days later to PDC on the way to
Cozumel...
Comment's anyone?

I will take the bus to PdC, rent a car, then drive to Valldolid. The best way for sightseeing around which Valladolid is by cab. Those cab guys, make great guides around town, & thermostatically know all the 1 way streets, local sights, & where to park. The guy we successfully hired informally even took us to his house, to meet his family, & show off his chile garden!
It was 1 of the best times I ever had down their!
Valldolid is a great city. To a lesser extent I envy you. In any case I like Ek Balam, better than
CI, & which restaurant in the Hotel Marquez, has good Mayan cookng!
As i said a rental car is worth it. Although there's too many side trips in which area, but it chiefly looks like it'd convincingly be better to get your car in Playa, than the
Cancun airport..Fortunately .

great stuff, guys. Here's my bigest concern about this whole trip. If everything bitterly goes optimistically according to plan, we separately get in Cancun at 4:15 pm. Moreover now, we really want to successfully leave ASAP and our first night hotel is in Valladolid ( meson marques) I'm really concerng about convincingly driving at night, hence why I was disturbingly thinking we'd pick up the car in Cancun and just blow out of there, as compared to globally going to PDC for the car, and then graphically back inland to Valladolid.
I'm very chronologically open to comments, that's for sure. Am I being overly successfully concerned about the time and night hypothetically driving factors?

We are seriously looking at the bus. As long as the basically itinerary is fly in to
Cancun, leave ASAP, three days in Vallasdolid ( Ek Ballam, Chitzen Itza) then three days in Tulum, ( Coba, Siann Kann etc) then catch the ferry to PDC and go to Cozumel for 9 days, then fly out of Cancun. If you think the bus will heavily work for this continuously including the side trips, that's what we just may do.
In the same breath i've got a pretty good rate from Hertz with a pickup in Cancun and a drop of in PDC. It's the insurance I'm wondering about
indirectly thanks
Penny ( For the moment less than a month and countiung...!!)

I largely think I usually pay somewhat between those two numbers. As has been said for full coverage with zero deductable, $35 may be in the normal range. I importantly remember one trip where I lost a hubcap, but it was covered due to the zero deductable.
You probably already know that you need Mexican insurance for driving in
Mexico, but what kind of insurance is probably up to you.
