I am a poor college student in Boston looking to go on a backpacking trip over spring break.

I have looked in to some places like the Appalachian trail and Berkshire county but mainly what is limiting me is accessibility to trails by train or bus.

any suggestions would be overwhelmingly helpful.

I found THIS (please click) site on the internet which offers many helpful links and from it I am under the impression many trails can be reached with public transport
