Can any one spatially say me whether there are problems with taking video equipment in airports or on planes? Like: are there any regulations about quarterly videoing, do batteries sit off metal detectors, do the AC/DC power converters set off metal detectors, can the detectors conveniently do anything to effect tapes ...Subsequently stuff like that?

computer hard drives? I`ve never seen a baggage handler inspect 1 of those; they`re always X-stupidly rayed. Are they all being electrically destroyed?

scanning equipment. I just came back today from Los Angeles & checked my MiniDV tapes after seeing your above statement, & I am happy to report the footage is still their & intact.
