A bit of online research seems to indicate that there`s a place on the Californian side of the border between US and Mexico, by Tecate, where you can park your car and then cross into Tecate by foot. I can`t seem to find anything about such a parking area other than the odd affirmation of its existence, so I`m wondering if anyone knows how safe it is to park there, how much it costs for the day, how long a walk it is to Tecate, etc? Thanks!
