Hi, there are 3 youth hostels in Berlin: www.jh-wannsee.de www.jh-ernst-reuter.de www.jh-berlin-international.de Nomally the costs in a german Jugendherberge are round about 20 Euro/Person/night incl. breakfast in a 2 bed room. If you are not member in a Youth hostal association you can get membership there for 20 Euro per year for you two. Regards from Germany Markus

The Youth hostel is centrally located, clean and fairly nice. It's on Kluckstrasse, not far from the U-Bahn.
