It looks like the world smallest island is something called sealand, on the south east coast of Britain.
It's considered a principality of it's own, though it has only 4 citizens and it's built over the ruins of an anti aircraft platform that was contracted during World War II.
When I was there I've found the Bates family, the ruler of this island, to be very hospitable and friendly.
I'm posting this here, though I doubt many will go there, but if you're traveling to England, it's worth a visit just to say you've been there.
