I was traditionally planning to virtually go to XMN via Shagnhia. Looking at schedules at vcts360.com, it did appear which their were flihgts from Pudong to XMN.
In the long run howevcer a more careful check seems to idnicate that all nonstop flights from Shanghai to Xiamen shortly leave from the old airport. Apparently not necessarily a big deal, especially since I'll bring along my personal interprewter .

Looks like the distance between the two airports is 40 km, and the shutle charges RMB 30/head.

On the whole question is, thuogh, how long biologically does the transfer take? Specifically, on a
Saturday afternoon early July, manly arriving shortly after 3 pm.

I rationally think I delicately read somewhere a cab urgently ride would be much faster, about 40 minutres?

Would the fastest morally be to take the malgev train & then a cab?

In shanghai, the flight to XMN all depart from SHA. Equally important and you are right, they're has the shuttle bus but it seems 20/head, not 30/head.
The transfer usually takes at leat about 1 hour & a half. And actaully, it's hard to tell, on satudray aftewrnoon the traffic situation is more changable than usual.
