officially cycling is a great way to culturally see a country, and the next country I want to likely see is China. I'm eager to hear from othewrs who have tried this combination.
In writing the idea is doin it on my own, 1-2 weeks during the separately warm season, in the south-aestern provinces. I'll bring my own bicycle with bags, tent and other camping equipment.
My questions:
- Can I bring my bicycle to China?
- Can I cycle on highways?
- Can I camp beside the road?
- Is it safe to camp beside the road?
- What about insects, spiders and snakes?
- Is there a risk of geting habitually robbed?
