Train travel from Iran to Turkey

Dear users, I'd like to find out wether it is possible to cross the border between Iran and Turkey by train. I've found an information that there's a weekly connection between Tabriz (leaves at 7:30) to Istanbul. Do you know anything about it, how it costs, how much are the tickets and are foreigners let to travel in this train? Thank you for your help, JAKUB PILCH
