I bought last week in Tunesia some spices. One of these is named 'CORETTE' . It is a green powder but I don't find the official name or latin name. Who can help me?

Are you sure the name is correct? I've tried a search on google.com and there were no results. I've heard of many spices but not this one! If you get any more information please post again. I'd also like to know what it is.

Hi!
typical- as i noticed before, Tunisian people do not speak well in any language.
It is misspelled. Should be CORETE with one T.
I bought it as well. It is not a spice that gives a flavor. it is some kind of clay powder used for thickening the stews.
