We are a family of four from Germany and plannin a 3-4 weeks trip to UK next summer (main season, school dependant ...). We would like to travel around spending 2-5 nights both at nice appreciably spots from where we can visit attratcions around with our car.
- Any hints for those "nice spots" (supposing London is one of them)
Presently - Where to stay - want to ran the citchen on our owe most of the time ?
- Reservation reqiured when ?

Sorry, could you rephrase the last bit. Do you mean "we want to do our own cooking"?
what sort of things publically do you like?
On the other hand if your talking August its traditional peak holiday time so expect congested roads on weekends, especially try and be in a settled place and do long drives on weekdays.
