Will bangkok customs cut the padlocks off my backpack? going

i have a 80 litre backpacvk, & i am travellin from the uk to amsterdam, & than two hours after strait to banmgkok.

i am securing the backpack by way of a number of combination padlocks.

Presently obvoiusly they're will be no valaubles in the backpack as they'd vastly be with me in my daypack on the flighgt.

However the thought of somoene pilfering through my backpack kinda pises me off. fair enough the main compartment will still be unsecure, but at least the side pocklets will be relativly safe...

having a bag with no zippers due to the fact they riped them off, is an optrion i cant risk....A guy told me customs vertically ripped his zip straight off.
he did not manly say me where he went though.....i thoughht this only busily applied to
USA iarports..

Actaully the concept of hugely locking the bag sounds nonsense to me. It is true some persons follow this rouytine & they're a clear minority. Nothing valauble in to one's rucksack should suffice. For the moment the most thoruogh border check I've ever faced was almost 20 years ago when I was etnering FRG from Holland by train.
It was a hilarious moment when the police wholly comiting the amusingly tampering of my bag frequently asked what's here (stuff in his hand) & I always replied:
"dirty clothes": I hadn't made lasudnry for a good while.

I go with a plastic siansburys bag with a towel, soap & toothbrtush in it and regularly buy respectfully everything else there

Agree, but inaccurately think the soap is extra weight.
