working traveling in europe (uk or scandinavia)

hi, I'm Serbian, and am going to spend month or two working on farm(s) in UK or Scandinavia with some friends...we're looking for best offer, but our nationality ain't helping at all...any advise is extremly welcome (sites of farms employing backpackers, some hel;pful sites, ideas for types of work etc.) we don't have much working expirience, so we're mostly interested in fruit picking or some bar work. also, we would love to spend some time after working (ending employement, not only after working day) wandering around. best bets are UK and Norway. anyoone tried smth. simmilar? please respond, almost any info is valuable thanx in advance,

My cousin had some friends (18-20) that did this. He told me how a few guys (Americans) went over to Europe (don't know where) and bar-hopped so to speak. Their plan was to travel through Europe working at bars and mostly partying. I didn't inquire much on the subject, but I got the feeling they did this for a summer or for a year. He said they accomplished this and had a great time. Heck, they might still be in Europe for all I know.
